INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM YOU
We currently only collect the following information:

  • Name

  • Address

  • Email address

We do not collect or store any payment details as this is all processed securely via Square (Squareup Europe Ltd). Square uses secure encryption sever to ensure your financial and personal data and protected and stored safely at all times. Squares privacy policy can be found here.


HOW WE GET YOUR DATA, WHY WE HAVE IT & HOW WE USE IT
All of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you by registering for the Twelve Day Marathon and completing the necessary forms.
We use the information that you have given us in order to:

  • Process your registration

  • Process and deliver your order (medal and/or any giveaways)

  • Communicate with you to: (a) Update you regarding any new information relating to the event (b) Notifying you about changes to our terms & conditions or privacy policy (c) Reply to any emails from you.

We do not share these details with any other parties unless under particular circumstances such as to comply with legal obligations. The only other reason details may be shared, is if you are a chosen winner of a giveaway and that organisation needs to send the prize directly to you – in this circumstance we will contact you first and get your consent.


Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information is:

  • Your consent.

HOW & WHERE WE STORE YOUR DATA
We have ensured that we have the necessary controls in place to protect the data you provide to us. We will keep your data until 31st May 2024, by which point all events will have been completed and medals should have been received, therefore we will no longer require your information and it will
be destroyed.

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

  • Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

  • Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

  • Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
